Overview

As a website design for a large law firm, the challenge and goal was to design an engaging homepage, along with lawyer bios that communicated their newly established positioning statement “Shaping the playing field”.

The client’s existing website had an established site structure which remained in the new website designs with the intent on keeping interior page designs the same. With this in mind, the homepage serves to communicate brand messaging, stats, as well as encourage interaction and link to the website’s other pages and variety of content pertaining to the law firm.

Site Architecture

The scope of this project mainly involved homepage and bio designs — the interior pages remained as they were.

Wireframing

There scope of this project did not involve a wireframe stage.

Takeaways

This project was great for learning how to create and integrate branding elements as animated videos within web designs. It was also a chance to work within limitations of established branding guidelines like color palette, while being able to generate and expand aspects of a brand.
